I browsed through DA to find a picture that I could write a critique on.
I think this picture deserves it.

You transmit a sad, lonely atmosphere through this impressive photograph. The monotone colors, the high contrasts and the mirage in the water create a mysterious ambience.
I think the lack of people makes it even more interesting. A Ferris wheel without people is contractious, and I think that is the reason why it has such a great effect on me.

Furthermore - what I really like - is that the background does not distract the observer of the motive. The grey sky underlines the loneliness this work expresses.
The building behind the Ferris wheel increases the effect of loneliness, because buildings always are associated with human beings, but if there aren't people you are confused. So am I and I like how you did it.

Technically - in my opinion - you could have done it a little bit better, but that's a minor aspect.
I refer to the sensor noise, if it is one. The sky (although it is neutral as I said before) does not distract the observer with regard to content, but to noise.

It is not as important as the goose bumps you effected on me but I think if technique is as perfect as content, there couldn't be anything to complain for.

Great work, really. Hope I could give you fair feedback. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":)" title=":) (Smile)"/>
